Megami is celebrating summer’s end with nudity – bringing two rather sizable posters of busty female characters from two separate ongoing series, Boku H, as well as Nakaimo, to show off in their natural form.
In its September 2012 issue, Megami is certainly stomping all over the competition as its rather near-impossible to compete with bare skin – as well as when portrayed as inappropriately lovely as this. The Boku H illustration is rather delectable in its exposure – with both the upper and lower body serving as rather enticing areas. And as for the Nakaimo poster, it’s worth noting that indeed, a nipple is partially visible – adding a new degree of ero to the series previously kept to the manga.

This is pretty excessive, even being on par with Dengeki Hime.

I rather agree with you. It’s rare for a non-H anime to get a Megami/Nyantype/Dengeki G’S pinup exposed with areolas.

Well I noticed that only one side of breast has areolas

The lines between once confined genres have been blurred out. And it isn’t just AT-X or other assorted venues. Even Dog Days; where foreplay is simply heavy petting. They make great pets.

I kinda agree. Nowadays, everything they make, no matter the genre, simply focuses on the fanservice territory (not that I’m against it, it’s just overdone for me to handle). I hope K will change the destiny of anime industry once we are going back on the same lines the anime stuff come back from the older stuff they make, like we’ve seen a new Sailor Moon anime announcement.

What really bothers me is when I see anime today with animation worse than from over five years ago.

The only redeeming qualities of today’s anime standards is the quality improvement and how the color palette varies between scenes’ effects, not to mention the HD. Everything else went downhill : the character designs aren’t different between titles no matter which genres they belong to, the unoriginality of storylines rise, some titles terribly suffers the so-called QUALITY (epic fail) animation, excessiveness of fanservice and asspull endings out of nowhere. What’s even worse is that the Japanese doesn’t even know how plot means or works, and most today’s animes either tries to develop good plots and ultimately fails, or they simply focuses on original plots that terribly wastes their bad potentials halfways (like in the case of Chaos;Head or Guilty Crown).

I couldn’t have said it any better – two main problems I believe are that there’s not any effort being put to begin with, or the more critical aspects are being put second to something else, like oppai.
When you know female fanfare will sell regardless of anything else, it seems logical from a business perspective to capitalize on that. And then in the other case, even if a studio wants to make something great, they may put animation or story second to first devising some cute characters – and then explicitly angling and setting up the scenes to emphasize moe aspects, instead of actual cinematic or story techniques.
