K-Project [K] – Megane Is Always Mad

Aug 1, 2012 @ 11:46 CDT

As it so seems, the K-Project has settled on the idea of showing characters with angry faces – although this 38th key visual keeps the repetitious formula innovative by giving it a twist of irritation and disgust.

Above, it’s a character whose megane one should be all too familiar with – and there’s nothing particularly striking about this illustration either, save for the fact that the fellow makes a face of an annoyed state, with a hint of distaste. Even then however, for the skateboard extraordinaire, his furious appearance was one vastly differing from his usual appearance – thereby making it of great interest. On the other hand, this fellow always seems upset.

That in mind however, one aspect to consider is the reasoning behind why this fellow is always so glum – what exactly is infuriating him so much that he can hardly spend a minute smiling, or even keeping a face of indifference if nothing else. Of course, the answer is unknown for now – however, one would want to keep in mind the possibilities to stem from one’s sentiments, or more simply, perhaps this character may be loosely violent against others as can be insinuated based on his feelings.

It may also be that he’s not insane, yet his actions will be the main driving force against the blue crew’s believed enemy, the fireblazers – and putting such in perspective, assume the entire battle of blue crew versus fireblazer is no more than a misunderstanding, or needless in some other way. With a hotheaded individual propelling the war effort in front, and the fireblazers likely having their own, it’ll be a pointlessly brutal fight.

Surely, what can be better than senseless violence?

I do feel that there is always room for characters with glasses, but can’t we at least have some variations in hair colour? There’s just no originality whatsoever when it comes to these things.

      Japanese are all darkhaired…

Why do all anime characters have to be Japanese?

Well I didn’t say that all of them had to! x3 But since they have japanese names, then… yea. ._.” I was only refering to this anime, and not all the other ones out there. Personally I get a deeper feeling of realism when watching an anime when the japanese people are actually darkhaired as they’re suppose to be. But since they allready have a whitehaired dude and a blondie in this one, not to speak of the Nekogirl(But I don’t really know what she’s from though… xD), then I wouldn’t really say that they lack variations of haricolours all too much anyway. What I’m trying to say here, is that I’m glad they’re not making a whole rainbow out of it, yet they still have SOME variations which, in my opinion, makes a perfect combo. Opinions may allways differ tho’….

I agree with you for the most part – I don’t really care either way about hair hair color, though something unique would be in preference, or rather, whatever fits the art style best.

And if they’re in Japan in the anime, then I can understand why almost all of’em are japanese, since there aren’t many people from other countries in there.
