SHAFT has confirmed itself to be bringing a setting and visual book of its supernatural slice of life masterpiece, Bakemonogatari, to the ever-creeping event of Comiket 82 – the grandest stage of otaku exchange.
Not only is this an item from SHAFT, yet it’s of Bakemonogatari, the single greatest selling anime Blu-ray of all-time – perhaps only recently surpassed, if at all, by Madoka Magica, another SHAFT work. This is the kind of product which has swarms of individuals lining up days in advance to purchase – and one doesn’t exactly require any advanced analytics to realize this will sell out immediately upon the opening moments of the event, unless, of course, they stock some unrealistically grandiose number, like over 9000.
Then again however, with how obsessive otaku can be, that’s likely hardly enough for one customer.

If one Otaku bought something like 9000 copies of this, they’d need to be a billionaire :)
Didn’t know that Bakemonogatari was the best-selling blue-ray anime. cool :)

Its the best selling because it is the best anime.

I believe Madoka Magica broke that record?

Perhaps.
