Yuru Yuri Promises Even More Bishoujos

Of the new characters Yuru Yuri’s second season is to feature, three more welcome additions have been unveiled – each being of the bishoujo physique, with two looking quite promising in the chest area.

This was noticed with several other characters previously confirmed to debuting, yet it’s seen here once again – the seifuku worn by these three is not of of the signature Yuru Yuri style, and the logical explanation is they’re not of the same school.

Now further, one could say they perhaps attend a separate middle school – or more likely, they’re highschoolers. Although very rarely, some older characters have been ever so slightly seen, or at least referenced, within Yuru Yuri’s first season – thus for highschoolers to enter the fray, it’d not be very unusual. It’s also worth considering that Akkarin’s onee-chan finally made her TV series appearance last episode.

Another reason these characters are likely of the highschool kind is that they appear more physically developed, a characteristic particularly hard to miss with the girl farthest on the left – and not to mention, their uniforms consist of modest hues. It seems only natural that as one goes from a child to an adult, all the color and flare gradually disappears into a bleak life of neutral wallpaper tones.

Now regardless what grade level these girls are, one also has to wonder how they relate to the series at all – one likely assumption is that at least one of these girls is the sister, or some other kind of family member, of a more familiar character, and the other two could simply be the friend of this relative.

In any case, it’s quite tough to select a single favorite of these three as all are simply too enticing in their own right – as expected of Namori’s aesthetic mastery.
