Comic Yuri Hime, the dominant force of yuri publications, has seemingly been telling a story of not so innocent romance on its front cover – however, the tale has become even naughtier than before.
Starting from January 2012, each cover artwork of Comic Yuri Hime, as well as a few relevantly included magazine artworks, contributed in part to a highly elaborate tale of yuri romance – and as one goes through the imagery, it becomes clear that the entire situation is quite a mess of backstabbing and complex feelings in which it appears a girl simply cannot decide which other human of dual XX chromosome to share her lascivious affections with.
It looks that multiple relationships were developing simultaneously, with the girl of purple hair being unaware of the matter for a while – all however until it goes full yuri between a cheating pair at a matsuri, which is seen within the latest issue, September 2012. It appears the violet-haired heroine of this tale is in quite an awkward situation as her yuri friend, whom with which she came to the festival, is now staring at her strangely – all the while, the protagonist of purple hair can do no more than glare at betrayal.
Admittedly, this immoral tale of love is rather interesting – yet another aspect also quite striking on a contemplative scale is how far in advance did the dynasty of shoujo ai magazines, Yuri Hime, have this dramatic female on female highschool love story with an unfaithful twist planned.
October, the month of horror, is sure to have some sort of conflict or confrontation arise as result of this tragic collapse of taboo relation and concurrent desecration of sincere sentiment.

Love is a complicated thing sometimes. Straight? Gay? Doesn’t matter. It’s good to see a publication contribute to the idea that all couples, no matter the gender mix, will fight for the air they breathe together….
