An elemental workshop.

It’s summer, and Microsoft Taiwan’s busty mascot has finally returned to her mizugi wardrobe once more – this time catering to sukumizu fetishes, as well as one-piece swim apparel interests of the 2-D and tech crowd.

Hikaru has been recently growing in beauty significantly with each latest appearance, and this instance is certainly no exception – her visage has been made even more so stunning than it ever was before, essentially perfected, and she was definitely already rather captivating in that respect to begin with. Representing the outgoing summer atmosphere, there’s a collage of complementing orange and blue emanating from the artwork fantastically – and this does well to also contrast and define different portions of Hikaru.

She wears a pair of matching blue hair accessories, as is signature to her appearance – yet they come designed for the occasion in this case, each being a translucent tone which looks to glow under the daylight. Aside from being a lovely contrast against the orange hair of Hikaru, they also aide in balancing color across the artwork as they borrow hues from the ravishing ocean of a pool behind her – whilst also being of another “cool” color to go with the green seen in her eyes.

With blue engulfing everything in between, her hair of a vivid orange stands out wondrously amongst all else within the art piece – and making her truly striking, there’s a splendid gradient effect which takes her hair from a darker, heavier saturated hue identical to gold, through a transitional shift to a graceful and delicate spin-off of orange which glistens in the light, a result of her hair being soaked wet with water.

Also being a facet stemming from the water, the many speckles and shimmers scattered throughout which give this illustration a whole secondary tier of exquisite visual majesty and elegance – something further backed by the intricate flowing and free motion of her hair.

This is indeed by far one of the most eloquent images of swimsuit fanfare in existence – and continuing onward beyond details of H2O and relevant, one should take notice of her single visible eye which is like a vast sea of its own.

A resplendent gradient of green, appropriately varying in shadow from dark to light, composes her pupil – with a fine extra feature being the ever-necessary highlight. In almost every situation, an eye will have an intense highlight from the source of light – it’s inevitable, and in this case, the artist decided upon showcasing it in the same vein of sublime orange present throughout the image. This is a detail physically diminutive, yet with an impact monumental – and one which serves as quite a testament to color consistency.

And more of such expert color implementation and usage can be seen across the image – another example being that her mizugi is actually arranged of the hues of her eyes. The darker tone makes the main portions – whilst the lighter contrast which beams from her eye acts as the trim along the top edge of her swimwear, making for a masterful display which simply entrances all around as one is seduced into both face and body.

Making one last mention of color, the pink towel should not be forgotten – it seems to blend in all so well despite being a hue with a debatable role in the image. Regardless of that however, it is accounted for, alongside the other colors, in the far right area of white space and ever-necessary marketing spins.

Recognizing the shadow and depth, her skin fluctuates from a pale tone, to a darker as is appropriate – yet it’s worth noting this occurs through a precision unmet, and under a specific method of application. Exemplified around the armpit and collarbone area, shadows smoothly progress into the next proper shade or tint – yet some areas have a hard shadow, a sudden break of darkness being laid atop like that seen on her neck, whilst others have a haze escaping into the lighter portions without the intermission tones.

The very careful consideration of light is rewarding in that the subject matter, which in this case is a voluptuous bishoujo, is given an extensive depth – a feature which certainly has an impact one can’t help but become entrapped within as it is clearly quite defined to the point of being favorable for both artist, on part of making a masterpiece, and onlooker, for reasons best not stated.

Now an interesting aspect to highlight is the depth present in the mizugi region – the light has been altered accordingly, with creases and the expected rivets of line being present as well to indicate and emphasize certain curves. Her physique is brought out rather skillfully in this tightly fit mizugi-clad scenario – and it’s deserving of note that with depth being present overall, her chest isn’t necessarily boasted above anything else, it’s merely that her upper body has much more depth by nature, as one will certainly see with ease.

To her right, there sits a set of two metallic rails shining beside Hikaru – their main purpose being to provide an informality to the grand balance of the image, reason being, standard symmetry is rarely ever more attractive than a lack of it.

If one is to stop and pause their drooling of admiration towards her ample feminine areas for a moment – “taking a step back”, and then daze upon this artwork with at least half a percentage of cognition, it will reveal the spherical lens of perspective, and one can see then that Hikaru looks as if she’s charmingly escaping the canvas into our third dimension. She’s portrayed still in place as a third dimensional object in second dimensional space – and with the background surrounding her looking to warp around itself, receding backwards, she truly rises our direction.

Microsoft has turned their gimmick of a mascot into a female based form of flawless – and now the single item of dissatisfaction to be had is for those with interests more in favor of bikinis, yet at least there’s always next summer.
