Key visual 23 of the K-Project’s series en route to a hundred features the skateboard extraordinaire – yet making this far more interesting than any imagery of him prior is that he seems to look a lot more confident.
This is another still pulled straight from the animation – quality looking superb as expected, although meager aspects aside, the main point to be concerned with is the expression which this fellow, Yata Misaki, wears. He serves as underling to jacket equipped redheaded fireblazer – being his pupil, as well as a foremost leading character. If any are to have a role more prominent than this character, it would only be either the long-haired blue crew member, or the white-haired neko caretaker – and again, that’s only assuming if they prove more key than Misaki here.
As one can insinuate from the blood red and disconcertingly enthusiastic English phrases, complete with exclamation marks, this character is quite a proactive type – likely the sort who chases after whatever he’s been told by his relevant superiors to the very end. And indeed, this is something one can confirm with earlier images.
Aside from that detail, one can make the presumption that everything Misaki knows about fireblazing was shown to him by the jacket-clad character – and the two are likely close like family, with Misaki looking up to him.
And with that all established, this leads one to question how exactly are they capable of such perplexing powers of space distortion and pyrokinesis – as well as what part of this incites conflict with the blue crew, although that’ll be seen, ideally, when the anime finally launches.

I swear, that guy makes me think of Durarara so much, I love his design and he seems like a neat character. Obviously as mentioned, he’ll be quite the rough lad, baseball bat and all, but something tells me there’s a hint of sincerity in there too.

Sincerely tough.
He reminds you of Durarara! because he looks like he’s from the streets – though he basically looks like a typical American to me.

“No Blood! No Bone! No Ash!”
Hell yeah!
Great words! This guy definitely should have been born outside of Japan!
And it is also the first skater that I see in an anime.
