Haganai’s sixth Blu-ray volume favorably arrives adorned with the wonderful sight of loli in two separate varieties – a superior moe variant clad in summer dress, as well as a lesser anime design rendition with nopan.
While nothing is wrong with nopan, comparing the top image to the one beneath will of course leave the first being the more rewarding of the two – the light novel reminiscent artwork is leagues more extensively developed, with high intricacy of shadows and patterns, meanwhile, the anime character design hasn’t anything going for it aside from the lack of proper underwear. Nonetheless, both are certainly enjoyable to glare at in their own way.

Not the manga, that image looks like its from the person who did illustrations for the light novel. Which is really nice, incidentally.

Yeah, that’s what I meant.

First picture is just amazing.

Buriki’s artwork is miles ahead of most other light novel illustrators. I thought Shaft’s adaption of his art style (for denpa onna) looked better than AIC Build’s take on it, but it was still nice enough. It’s hard to replicate such detailed and fine art like his. What catches my attention the most is her dress. The colors used and the depth it has with all the right folds and wrinkles; it’s just amazing.
