A preview of Sword Art Online’s soon to debut second episode is available – a clip showing some developments made by the forcibly formed digital society, as well as the introductive appearance of the heroine.
Viewable below, the video gives something of an insight as to what one should anticipate with the subsequent animated chapter to come – the virtual civilization living within Sword Art Online is to establish some basic order, or rather, get acquainted with what they must do to survive and escape. All the while, the generic hero will meet the equally as standard heroine – which then will be followed by the expected route of action and romance.

I hope that each of the losers are really dying off. If mindfuck bullcrap is introduced, then Sword Art Online will feel disappointing.
That said, as long as we get some fighting, some character info to make it feel complete and a continuing quest to reach the top of some tower (which with the episode cram, that’s like, 5 or 10 floors an episode depending on series length).
Welp, get hype, at least with each person dying, its cause is not wasted.

Calling Kirito an generic hero makes me want to punch you in the face xD

I mean generic in the sense of his role – a male protagonist who meets the girl and then fights against fate. I’d not be surprised if he turns out rather interesting personality-wise.

Oh I see. I would say the battle is more within himself though. Not saying more, of course.

Given the first episode, I’m expecting some great things.
