Specifics are unclear, although a magazine has confirmed that the fourth volume of “Full Metal Panic! Another“, to release August of this year, will carry information on an ambiguous “new project” being planned.
For the many fans of Full Metal Panic!, a series certainly arguable as one of the greatest to have ever graced animation, this opens hope for a fourth season of the anime – yet of course, one wouldn’t want to get too excited over anything only to have disappointed themselves later on. A “new project” could also mean a separate manga installment – a mere twist in the manga’s story could be used as the basis for a spin-off.
Hopefully however, the announcement in August will satisfy the eager fanbase.

Hope that new project involves the original getting another anime to start where Second Raid wrapped up then give it to Sentai so we can get Hilary, Luci and Chris on it. Don’t inject moe (no problem with it, just tired of it right now) into FMP please Japan.

I second this.
On another note, this season is by far the most oppai filled I can recall ever having to go through.

So what is the current status? Could somebody please provide me some valueable information. I will be checking this routinely every month to see if I have an answer. But it would be satisfying to know there is some hope.

If there were any valuable information, you would already find it here – the problem is there is none. The side-story manga has a new character or something.
