Type-Moon has confirmed that the anime based off the immensely popular magical girl comedy doujin spin-off of their Fate series, Fate/Prisma Illya, will debut in 2013 – and production shall be done by Silver Link.
Silver Link has been on an upward trend – improving in story, number of titles released on an annual basis, and just about everything, with this also marking yet another grand achievement for them. They’ve managed to secure a title from the Fate series – and one which is going to be very unique as well. They’re definitely capable of some fantastic and fitting artwork – and they’ve proven themselves able of a functioning story with Tasogare Otome, thus one can be sure that this will certainly be an unconventionally enjoyable mahou shoujo experience.
Additionally, Silver Link has worked in some relevant fields when they’ve created “Baka to Test” – meaning they already have quite a grasp of the comedic genre, and a more loose atmosphere, nor to mention the endless list of production assistance they’ve provided other studios with.
However, it’s worth pondering over the visuals – Silver Link is capable of artistry on par with the term “perfect”. They’ve shown themselves apt at creatively employing a multitude of art styles to deliver a single scene, with each and every individual frame being an astounding work of art in itself – and of such a master level of impeccable visual transcendence as well. And that being the case, one must question what it is which Silver Link will deliver with this upcoming mahou shoujo spin on the Fate series.
The year 2013 isn’t too far off, despite the many months away – yet hopefully this launches early in the new year, and with all the months till then having been well-spent on ensuring success.

Would’ve preferred if they did a Heaven’s Feel Adaptation next but oh well…magical girls…i’m game

I think there would be no way to make Heaven’s Feel…PG rated :3
That being said I would like to see Sakura actually becoming a main character as well but guess we just can’t have it all.
Then again, I’d like a second season of Carnival Phantasm as well

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t the FSN lincense owned by deen?

No, Deen is just a studio. I think the popular theory now is that Geneon holds the rights to it.

We could all use a little more Fate in our lives.

I was hoping for a ray of sunshine and cuteness after all the darkness in Fate/Zero. ^^

I’m just pleased that this originates from a doujin work, because I like seeing innovation succeed – and then also that it’s going to be animated by Silver Link, an up and coming studio with enormous potential given that their visuals are already second to none.
