Like a hurricane after another hurricane, a ridiculously lengthily titled highschool romance comedy series, “Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru“, has been confirmed as an upcoming animation.
Before cuing any rage, first know that thankfully, no imoutos are involved in this series – now secondly, it’s worth examining the plot for a moment as well. The story surrounds the protagonist who is scaling the ranks of ambition as he works towards a lofty university from his current highschool position – affixing all focus on studies, and overlooking anything romance related as result of a negative past experience with his parents.
Yet somehow, the most popular girl in school magically falls for the kid who did nothing to garner attention, our dull male lead – and all of a sudden, a childhood friend enters as well, effectively making just another generic harem.
One has to commend this series for utilizing a childhood friend in place of a little sister, and also for making the childhood friend a loli character – however, the story is still not any better than the flood of identical series already present. It’s a love story seen enough times to be sickening – and more than likely, the anime will merely end indecisively, just as most of them do.
No date of release is known for this series – though it’s nothing to be eager for anyways unfortunately.

The whole “childhood friend” premise is just to switch it up from any other series. In the manga, she acts quite literally like his sister.
Cue the two girls fighting over protagonist, becoming friends, then the long haired and male lead try to find a substitute “boyfriend” for the childhood friend.

i’ve read the manga and a bit of the light novel and i absolutely love it , im a guy who likes romance (prefer romantic-comedy) , especially a harem with bishoujos so im really looking forward to this series getting animated
