Pictures of a pre-release nature are stirring about for the first, anticipatedly awful, episode of generic imouto incest slice of life series, Nakaimo – and meeting expectation quite well, the images do disappoint.
Going through the imagery, the lacking visuals once mentioned before are so blatantly radiant of their petty state – every still seems rather fuzzy, with bland color and shadow application, and a far too frequent fade to white which is employed likely to attempt to hide the sheer absence of detail. Indeed, Nakaimo is looking to be quite the embodiment of a half-baked budget animation tossed out in a rush simply to sell, and fill time slots – yet that was obvious long ago when the first PV, failing to even rival that of a light novel’s in quality, was released.
Now the contents and present subject matter of these stills don’t do the series any better – they simply make the already known even more understood, and that would be the fact that this is a horrible rehash of the seemingly so prominent these days, recycled trash.
This was said in the past, though it appears these pre-release images do well to emphasize it to a point as if seeking appropriate recognition – this anime is akin to pollution as it’s simply filling the fresh seasonal air with a dependency on overdone harems, little sister love routes, lolis, and of course, it’s terrible artwork. Incidentally, that’s all one can assess from these images of an early look – and so not too shockingly, this series is seemingly bound for the slums.
At least however, one can use this series as the standard for terrible when comparing with other not-so-great animations of the current season – as well as those surely set to come in the next.
