Some rather unusual character profiles are now available for “Ixion Saga“, an upcoming adventure fantasy anime which looks to follow the trend of an RPG theme – with the cast looking unique in their strangeness.
These characters neither necessarily appear original, nor rehashed, rather they simply look so physically bland to the point of being highly unconventional in style and appearance – something which may actually prove favorable. Following the list of images below, rather than chase after a second dimensional lust object, the loli character of the series was instead made quite memorable to say the least.
The leading male is rather intriguing himself, specifically as he looks fairly 1970′s – and his casual attire of jeans, a plain red shirt, and some work gloves with matching boots, makes him look as if he were a true physical laborer.
Moving to the bishoujo of glowing green hair, she gives off quite a synthetic impression – almost as if she were made from plastic, and aside from watering down any charm she’s capable of, it also doesn’t say much as to what sort of role she’s going to play within the anime. As for the blonde haired bishoujo however, her ample chest with midriff exposure says it all indeed – her expression is seducing, and her revealing leg service is much appreciated.
And lastly, there’s the most visually generic character – a husky fellow who serves the position of tank, a necessary role in any RPG styled adventure. This character basically lugs around his gigantic sword and massacres everything as needed – which won’t actually be too often, although it shall be rather useful when required.
Ixion Saga launches autumn of this year, and it’s looking quite worthwhile for the sheer peculiarity of the characters – at least a single episode to see if the series is any unusual like the characters. Though another reason to look forward to this one is the blonde bishoujo and her fine upper body.
