Another round of Busou Shinki key visuals are now available, and making for a rarely seen facet, these are heavily refined over those earlier released – the girls look the same, yet in a much improved manner.
First of all, the single most prominent fix made to the character design is that these lovely anime figure females now have a less jointed appearance – the joints have been more streamlined and blended in with the general overall fashion of each female in question, and this makes them nearly unnoticeable, particularly in the case of the blue haired tsundere, Straff.
Also, another aspect to note is that the visuals are immensely impressive in themselves – looking to the portrait of Arnval above, there hasn’t been any shadow applied to the shoulder region yet, however one can still ascertain the depth as result of the proportioned and very well-illustrated shapes. Not to mention, there has been a darker shade applied to the neck and receding areas of hair – and this contrasts the head and shoulders to make not necessarily a 3-D effect, but one which provides definition enough to make it seem as if that were the case.
A second feature worthy of praise is the side-view of the eye, and this applies to the tsundere as well – one can see that their eyes have been illustrated to proportion incredibly well. Using the above as a specific example, her pupil is accurately shaped and aligned according to the direction of her visual focus – yet her eye itself remains properly still inline with the rest of the visage.
Overall, the promise of this series is seemingly increasing alongside the level of moe of the heroines.

Wow the blonde one resembles Erica and the blue haired one kinda resembles Sanya from Strike Wtiches.
