Smile PreCure has received its first sparkly rainbow colored promotional image for its upcoming film – yet it’s nothing particularly spectacular, merely echoing the usual glitter alongside the girls of the movie to come.
As one can see, there’s the standard five mahou shoujos of Smile PreCure, colorful as ever – and then in the middle, a less familiar soft violet hued magical loli girl, equipped with a beaming tome of light, overall fitting of the girly, happy-go-lucky “save the universe” stuff which the series glorifies to no defined end point. Of course, it is this overly dramatic nature of the anime which many love it to begin with.
