Two fresh previews are out for Lyrical Nanoha 2nd A’s upcoming film – one being a fantastic PV packed with all sorts of fantasy action, the other, a TV optimized version of the same, both highlighting a lovely tune.
The main point of promotion behind each of these videos is the splendid song – a melody rather appropriately dubbed “Bright Stream”. Focusing on the longer PV, which is the first video below, one can notice how fitting it is with the various scenes – the theme fluctuates in energy, though it remains rather steady overall save for some more intricate vocal shifts to represent rises and declines in emotion. As the song keeps consistent overall, it’s notably very versatile in how it seems to work with any scenes pasted atop it.
Stated differently, “Bright Stream” does well to contain quite a spectrum of feelings.
Now in respect to the flashy visuals and their contents – they’re wonderfully engaging in how variegated in hue they are, yet not in any random rainbow manner, yet with carefully considered contrasts and monochromatic schemes utilized according to character and attack. In addition to the scenes being so beautifully colorful, the effects are highly threshed out – when smoke composed of multiple tiers of shadow and other facets floods the screen, it feels as if the characters are truly doing battle within an open world with little restriction.
Those eager to witness the magical girl action first-hand needn’t wait much longer as Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha 2nd A’s film is now less than a month away – a launch much anticipated for July 14th.

I never quite got into the series because I kept getting the names confused with Madoka…not sure how that happened…but is it worth starting still?
I must say that first picture you put up, that looks disturbingly like…A Blonde Shakugan? and crossed with Eve from Black Cat (or To love ru for the others)…Great…now can not be unseen…damn my eyes for making everything looks like something else…

If you like moe and basic mahou shoujo – then I’d say yes.
This is definitely not a bad series – though certainly not spectacular, although the film is looking rather impressive as far as I can see.
