A complicated series, “Binbougami ga!”, has received its first TV clip – and shockingly, the video not only looks nothing reminiscent to the main visual, but it gives the impression of this being quite a hardcore anime.
Watching the video results in one being treated to perhaps the most rewarding 16 seconds ever spent on an anime commercial – before that however, do take a moment to recollect the first, and main key visual released for the series. The appearance given by the graphic results in one thinking this series, Binbougami ga!, is some sort of bizarre children’s adventure as both heroines are smiling – and there’s an overall gentle outlook to it.
Yet then watching the CM below, it’s packed with shocked faces, rage, and seemingly semi-provocative expressions of allure. Not stopping there, there’s blatant slapstick comedy, heavy action, skin exposure, yelling all throughout the video, and a few plain disturbing sights. The video begins with the display of a character hanging in the torturous lethal manner – though it’s doubtful we’re going to see any legitimately portrayed deaths.
This is looking very much like a pure nonstop humor series – and indeed, the commercial does captivate. If this animation turns out rather witty, it’ll surprisingly manage to be one of the top contenders of summer season 2012.
Binbougami ga’s moment of debut is July 5th – and hopefully, it satisfies as much as we’re now hoping it will.

Oh, Hana! I’m in…

My excitement now scales like this:
1.) Kokoro Connect
2.) Binbougami ga!
3.) Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon
I’d put more, though I’m actually not looking forward to much – when it comes, it comes.

1) SAO
2) Kokoro Connect
3) That fairy one, Jinrui Wa Suitai Shimashita
4) Binbougami ga!
5) The High School DxD rip-off, Dakara Boku Wa H Ga Dekinai
6) Tari Tari
7) Yuru Yuri (musical notes)
Order may change.
The rest are probably going to be something….or other.

I’d be more enthusiastic for Sword Art Offline if it didn’t look like a restaurant musical.
That fairy one looks pretty promising, though I’m not too fond of pig-like fantasy creatures and gibberish languages.
I’m quite certain that after a few weeks, the number of series I’m watching will go like this: ↓

Going down? Yes, it does happen like that doesn’t it?
I’m enthused about the fairy one because a favoured group and TL is subbing it, and they did Inu x Boku and made it shine. So if they are enthusing about it, then so am I. Isn’t that just an odd reason to follow a show? I mean, AKB0048 wasn’t on my radar, but they are doing a bang up job on it, it’s irresistible.

Well, regardless of what a series shows prior to release, I personally watch them all anyways – then usually the ones which I find “good” are about half, and then the ones which turn out to actually be good are a fraction of that, which is rather depressing despite being expected.
There’s been a few favorable surprises like InuBoku SS, although they amount to not particularly many.
Steins;Gate has been by far the most rewarding of them all, as I went into it with zero expectation and a friend recommendation.

I pretty much watch them all myself; it can’t hurt….much.

Too bad it’s not possible to send a D-mail to yourself in the past, tell yourself which series are horrible so you don’t waste several hours.

Characters look mature when they’re drawn like that. That’s something unexpected.
