Volume 18 of shoujo ai magazine “Tsubomi” certainly seems to have no hesitations with its front cover illustration – an artwork featuring a girl in nun ensemble looking to be assertively taken by another in seifuku.
Whether yuri is in one’s taste or not, this artwork is both fantastic and admittedly interesting – reason being that it is highly expressive, boasting enough personality that not merely could a story be written based off it, but a book.
The girl in seifuku approaches the nun in a rather upfront and somewhat aggressive fashion – and the nun doesn’t appear only an object of affection for the seifuku girl, yet an item of lust as well. Seifuku shoujo has a glaring visage of desire which goes beyond some sort of simple crush – she’s a clear sadist, yet also one with a legitimate and true love for the nun as evidenced by how she appears earnestly drawn in, or entranced at the sight of her victim.
While seifuku shoujo’s finger of silence is a fine facet of the artwork, more captivating is the waist grab she employs with her left arm – a forceful maneuver, with some visible strength behind it as one can figure by the stiffness of her arm, as well as the seemingly affixed angle and flexing. In addition to the intimacy brought about by this move, it seems the seifuku shoujo also strategically used the chance to concurrently lift the dress of her nun lover.
It should further be noted that seifuku shoujo has her legs planted in a stance of dominance – and one which also contributes to showcase her direct attitude.
As for the nun, she’s troubled as any can see – although it should be realized that in spite of seeming a bit flustered, it doesn’t appear that she’s making much of an effort to resist. Her arm which grasps that of the seifuku shoujo hasn’t any power behind it – and other body language she exhibits is relaxed regardless of the situation she’s in. An entity is coming at her physically, yet she simply looks submissive – her face isn’t in any particular distraught, her overall physique isn’t in any tense pose, and observe her legs.
Her legs have an inward slant which show she’s basically allowing herself to fall into the pull of her seifuku friend – and that being said, those curves do entrance. Yuri apparently satisfies both the females involved – as well as any male or yuri female onlookers, a relationship which anyone can appreciate.
