“Fault!! S” Artistically Erotic PV

Jun 12, 2012 @ 17:29 CDT

Receiving its first demo clip is “Fault!! S ~Aratanaru Rival~“, the latest in an eroge series renowned for its incest, as well as its artwork by recognized artist, Tony Taka – and the video lives up to the ero-game’s prestige.

This PV is quite a bit more innovative than most others of its kind in how it deals with the carnal scenes – and this will be very noticeable as the video continues along. The clip first begins with the expected general information, such as the title and some other prominent points – the fact the illustrations are done by Tony, of course, serves as one of them. And those details are all shared to the sight of the camera panning across the sky – the default video effect for any Japanese work of entertainment taking place in the setting of highschool.

Once the basics are out of the way, it’s all Tony Taka from there – a rapid succession of artwork with female subject matter in which breasts are emphasized in the most ridiculous manner, it’s neither elegant, nor necessarily in poor taste, it’s simply humorous as it is so blatant, yet fittingly integrated with the character designs. And as the character introduction sequence initiates, the PV follows the route of any eroge preview – highlighting the “skills” and “features” of each girl of the game.

With each female we’re acquainted with, the video intercedes with a moment displaying her as she’s engulfed in a white mist – all the while, her head, the single part of her body escaping the supernatural steam, moves up and down as she wears a visage which certainly makes no question of what is occurring. Similarly to how whimsical oppai are accented in this clip, to see the intimate action being delivered amongst lively music and colorful visuals, it’s quite amusing – almost as if this eroge is intended to double as a comedic parody of sorts.

Turning to what the PV doesn’t offer, the synopsis of the game carries the otherworldly convenience seemingly present in any tale of romance, a protagonist who, by nature, attracts all members of the opposite sex:

After a tumultuous summer vacation, Shuuichi begins the second school term while under the constant love assault from Ai and Mio. One day the tennis club leader Reiko announced that they will participate in the school festival at the end of the month, which they decided to run a cosplay cafe after much wrangling. Afterwards, she decided that she wanted to run as a candidate for next term’s student council. That wasn’t the end of his tumultuous days as a transfer student suddenly appeared in his class…

Fault’s females become available for interaction starting the 29th of this month of June.
