A key visual has been released for To Aru Majutsu no Index’s upcoming film, which has been confirmed for debut in February 2013 – and several new characters have also been added to the cast, two girls and a shota.
Being static, there’s little to say about the movie launch date – on the other hand, one could speculate quite a bit about these characters. The two to the farther right appear quite evidently female, one is dressed in more average attire – whilst the other, fitted in a plugsuit, is clearly the more peculiar of the two. All the while, the character to the far left isn’t nearly as easy to figure at all – it’s difficult to even distinguish their gender if male or female, however, at least it’s quite simple to see that they’re odd.

Didn’t even know about this, now I learn I have to wait till 2013…
The new characters are interesting…wonder why one is wearing a plugsuit? And what sex the left one is…what’s that term describing something neither male or female? It suits the mystery character :)

This. I’d love the company forevermore – even more so than currently – if they did this. As well as the rest of the light novel series, including the sidestories (the Kakegu railgun ones, with biribiri as MC).
