Ore no Imouto’s second season has received what is perhaps its first artwork – a mizugi based treat with a surprising amount of substance to it beyond simply several fine lolita framed females in their revealing swimsuits.
Of course, the main attraction of this image is the imouto and her companions – the unbelievably cute little sister sports a bikini blue like the sky, matching her eyes of a similar soft hue. All the while, the frilly white trim provides quite a fluent sense of harmonics in the image.
Aside from being the color of the yandere’s mizugi, white is also spotted all throughout the art in various places – yet returning to where it is seen on the imouto, more prominently her lower half, this mizugi certainly seems as if more provocative than a regular bikini in how it doesn’t even fully cater to the height of her waist. The yandere in her simple bikini has the most elegant choice of ensemble, truly as refined as an outfit no different than underwear can be – and her swimsuit has ribbon ties, arguably the most enticing of mizugi styles.
Off to the page on the left, Kuroneko and crew simply stand glaring. The most intriguing facet of this image is that the imouto poses with her school friends – meanwhile, the otaku are both with the half-memorable protagonist Kyosuke, and there’s a clear distance between these three and the imouto unit. Also worthy of note, Kuroneko is standing right beside Kyosuke – with the bishoujo who hides her true appearance being furthest in the back.
The positioning of the characters implies that Kuroneko and Kyosuke will have some sort of relationship as the imouto is occupied with other things, not that this wasn’t obvious from the first season and OVAs already – yet the image repeats the statement.
There’s plenty of routes Ore no Imouto’s second season can go – either tarrying along with the manga or light novels, or perhaps even following along with the visual novel. Either way however, we ultimately remain curious which female will the final outcome favor – if the light novel is the source medium, it won’t be the gothic lolita. Then again however, it depends on how far into the lives of the characters the anime will go.

I want more development for Saori and Minami! They should win, not that bitch Kirino. Hopefully the second season will focus more on the other characters and tone down Kirino’s bitchy ways. It would be a HUGE improvement if the writers did that.

Too bad they won’t.
Though either way I’m not complaining, I like the kuroneko and Kirino’s bitchy ways.

When Kirino eventually goes dere, everything -the punching, kicking and bitching- will become worth it. That fang shows me the future.

Finally, someone who understands.

The character type of imouto trumps all other inferior existances.

The truth, this is.

Hope there won’t be a we’re not related end. Only thing that doesn’t piss me off and has me supporting Kiri X Kyo is them being blood related bro & sis.

Profanity is A-Okay, let’s just not do it in all caps. Though I understand your reasoning – @#$# she’s too hot.

Kuroneko is Queen of the Universe. I’m sure that once all of you understand this then all will be sweet bliss. Those that fail, will undeniably be crushed under the boot heel of life. And those of us that worship in the Lady’s magnificence will enjoy sweet schadenfreude; you wails of anguish a sweet sweet symphony to the ears of the damned.
