Madoka Magica Film(s) Release October

Jun 6, 2012 @ 7:07 CDT

Part one and two of Madoka Magica’s three-part film series have been confirmed to be debuting October 6 and 13th later this year respectively – leaving a single portion still subject to anyone’s speculation of reasoning.

Announced in the latest issue of Manga Time Kirara, July 2012, a solid release date is certainly splendid news – yet two aspects to question are why such a minuscule gap of time exists before the launch of the first two movies, and secondly of course, why exactly the third film remains at large. Yet both of those will likely be answered come the film premiere – seeing as each film will deliver a separate contribution to the overall tale of the series, it shall be quit interesting to see what sort of response factor develops intermittent between films.

The first two seem to be a recap of the anime,so releasing them like that would probably be less confusing for viewers(like normally watching anime)and the third is an actual continuation of the anime.

Hope they make drastically change the way events in the anime occur- maybe even add more characters like the Eva films.

From what I have gleened from here there and a few places is that the stroylines will follow these characters thru “typical” magical girl types of plots. Gen was itching to see how they would work in other stories and SHAFT couldn’t say no. I mean, I wouldn’t.
But, I think, Gen has said that some things will change, some things will stay the same. I think Sayaka will always die, cause Gen loves the idea of her dying.
