An elemental workshop.

Fourth volume of the latest manga series, dubbed “Another”, in legendary mecha comedy action “Full Metal Panic“, has been confirmed to be releasing this summer – sparking some well deserving rejoice and hype.

Full Metal Panic is sure to be unforgettable for any familiar with it, be it in manga or anime form – although the story of “Another” is a bit different, the title is actually self-explanatory to some degree even. Another is “another” story in the world of Full Metal Panic which follows separate characters than our much loved pairing of Sagara Sousuke and Kaname Chidori – and this is logically explained as the setting is several years beyond their tale.

“Another” instead tags alongside a highschooler who is all average in every respect save for his fetish for “foreign women”. Little did he realize, his taste in females will take him on a grand adventure as he conveniently, one day, runs across such a specimen. While operating a mech to assist his father’s business, he happens to meet a lady who is relevant to his interests. He aides her with her troubles, and then goes on to notice the difficult to miss militia caliber Arm Slave she has with her – an “Arm Slave” being a gigantic mech robot.

Those versed in Full Metal Panic should feel that Another certainly has quite a world of difference between the normal FMP universe one has come to know and love – and in fact, it’s practically the exact opposite of the original story to some extent. Yet at least the concepts are sustained so it feels familiar with any who are already acquainted with the series – and secondly, like any branch of the Full Metal Panic series, it is exquisite.

Any avid, or even mild readers should indeed keep an eye out for this.
