An elemental workshop.

Fate/Zero, now only a short ways from its finale, has gone from featuring a vast collective of individuals in its opening sequence, to an abundance of corpses as nearly all of the characters have died – with more pending.

The opening sequence to the second half of Type-Moon and Ufotable’s joint masterwork is certainly starting to become a sight quite highly reminiscent of a morgue as it progressively packs further with terminated souls, and deceased faces. Over a 22 episode period, more than half the cast of the series seen in the OP has passed away, and those unfortunate fools are highlighted in red below – yet even those few still lucky enough to remain in color, like Irisviel, haven’t much time remaining.

After all, death is matter of “when” – not “if”.

Are the red-highlighted characters highlighted by you, Seven? Or is this something the OP has done itself throughout. I tend to skip it to get to the story :)
I’d check, but my store of anime happens to be at my other home…

The regular OP doesn’t have any red highlights – it’s just here to show the dead.

  • You skip the opening..the opening is really nice and beautiful…even surpasses oath sign…sets the mood right….

I realize both themes are great – although I personally aren’t fond of either much, not my taste.
