A second PV has been released for the K-Project, [K] – and while already rather mysterious, the anime amps the puzzling mood further as this latest video sample literally focuses on backgrounds exclusively.
Available for viewing on the official site, this second PV travels through cityscape – shuffling between a basic rendering minus textures, and then a fully detailed environment, panning around with a mood of ambience. The sights are gorgeous, and the scenes are essentially as expected based on prior pre-release material seen – everything is of a quality breathtaking, and quite stylized to form a specific atmosphere.

That aside, the design of characters really makes me think of other characters in anime the likes of Durarara, Gosick, some other Medieval era anime and Aquarion EVOL xD

I’ll scour for a release date, can’t recall if there was one available or not.
I personally am fond of the neko – and the skateboarder also has my interest, as does the heavy set hoodie wearing fellow. In respect to the latter two, it’s rare to see such characters in an anime – and while I’m not sure of the hoodie man, the skateboarder seems to have a prominent role, of which I’m quite curious.

Just discovered this anime today and watched the first episode. The graphics are gorgeous, I hope they keep up with the animation quality throughout the series! Even if I end up not liking the plot, I’ll be watching just for the stunning visuals alone. Doesn’t hurt that the cast is full of pretty boys~ And check out that all-star cast of voice actors!
I always seem to go for the long-haired swordsmen, so Kuro immediately caught my eye, but I’m also liking the Heiwajima Shizuo look-alike–I mean, Kusanagi Izumo, and Yata Misaki. You don’t see many skateboarder guys in anime!
Definitely looking forward to another episode.
