An elemental workshop.

Upcoming oppai emphasizing eroge “Aorio” has received its first demo clip, a video showing the game to contain all of which was expected – suggestive sights, tsundere mannerisms, breast fondling, and more.

If this video truly encompasses all which this game has to offer, then it certainly failed to meet expectation as the characters look far too “well endowed” with features to simply amount to some typical second dimensional female fanfare readily found anywhere. The PV begins by tossing a mix of still illustrations stacked atop one another in a manner reminiscent to a Power Point presentation – and this is incredibly weak in securing our interest as the art isn’t anything we haven’t already seen, standard character portraits already revealed long ago.

Admittedly however, the character introduction portion is rather unique – although that’s not necessarily a positive trait in this case. As the characters are exhibited to us just past the title screen, the video shuffles through images of each and puts their name right beside them – that’s all standard, although the issue is that the character names are listed with a question mark at the end of them, and in fact, they’re not actually the characters’ names, rather these seem to be in-jokes of the game.

Series specific gags can be fantastic additions as they’re capable of proving hilarious and relevant, lighting up an atmosphere of a series with relative ease – however an exception is when the series in question has yet to launch, much like this one, as of course, no one will get the joke. One would have thought this to be obvious – although Aorio’s development team seem to have been a bit too enthusiastic going into this.

Around half-way through the PV, it finally begins showing some worthwhile sights – a few shots of oppai getting felt up here and there, some pantsu, and a moment of wardrobe malfunction for good measure.

Assuming Aorio can do no better than this, it hasn’t lived up to its lovely character designs at all – although to be fair, there’s still much time till this eroge’s release date of June 29th.

  • I can already tell the studio just from the lady’s facial features design (though I don’t know the name). In a way looks truly cute and interesting, I saw and thought “Oh, brunnete Sena!”.
I liked the mood the video gave it, though like all games, I’ll skip it.

The facial features greatly resemble those seen in SHAFT’s Denpa Onna, and AIC’s Haganai, yet it’s from neither studio – perhaps the artist does eroge on the side however?

characters somehow looks similar to that of ‘Haganai’ anime…
