An elemental workshop.

Dengeki G’s has put some content on their “Vinto de Pint” site – yet in typical Dengeki troll fashion, the info merely tells us to wait until another date, and worse, there’s an annoying sound playing in the background.

The slimy tentacles of Dengeki have made all sorts of announcements recently, and whether those relate to this at all, we don’t know – however apparently this is their latest venture, a collaborative original anime between themselves and Aniplex. Now despite announcing that they’re working on something, that’s all they’ve done – G’s Magazine featured an ambiguous promotional page with a link to a blank website with the name of “Vito de Pint”. That website is now up and running, although what’s there to see? Just another date for more needless hype.

There’s an obnoxious countdown with the most irritating clock ticking sound on infinite loop alongside 15 panels of nothing which compose the bulk of the webpage. Dengeki is apparently going to release a TVCM on May 4th, although that bit of knowledge isn’t benefiting anyone – when the preview clip for this vague series is released, then we’ll be interested. Until then however, Dengeki is merely pushing more of the same – ten tons of sensation for something nonexistent.

Late last month, Dengeki dished out a variety of misleading promises about Angel Beats! which they simply followed up with a PVC figure announcement – many however are still hoping for something worth their while to arrive, although at this rate, it looks to be quite a lost cause.

Otaku may want to begin preparing their facepalm imagery in advance – there’s certainly not going to be any reason for surprise if this turns out a total waste of time.

In their defense, it isn’t really “15 panels of nothing” since they’re obviously going to reveal information about the project bit by bit – the first panel already says that the theme is going to be friendship.
I’ll agree that the ticking sound is annoying, though.

Also it’s spelled Vinto rather than Vito, not that I have any idea what it’s supposed to mean.

Of course they’re going to reveal more information “bit by bit”, yet that’s all Dengeki’s been doing – making announcements for sake of more announcements, and the stalling isn’t satisfying anyone.

As for the mistaken spelling, thanks for pointing it out – I didn’t pay much attention to it since it sounds like some island resort instead of an anime, I’m finding it hard to take seriously in conjunction with Dengeki’s past endeavors.

    Okay~

Interesting site. I guess I’ll keep an eye on it, but the tick tock sound is kinda annoying O___O

The tick tock sound, sounds like 2 bats doing it, in the bathtub. With their mouths open wide. Not that I heard bats getting it on or anything.
