Korezom Vampire Oppai Coming Soon

Apr 12, 2012 @ 23:23 CDT

Second episode of “Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka? Of The Dead” arrives delivering a spectacle which specializes in moe and cuteness – yet satisfies most through its promise of busty sadist bishoujo to soon come.

His valiance was overlooked, however his indecent exposure was not – the protagonist of this series, Ayumu, just leaves a police box, head hung in shame, only to leave for school the next day, and of course, be met with more of the same. By crossdressing, Ayumu saved the entire school from otherwise certain death – yet with this not being the most story serious anime out there, everyone instead simply focuses on the fact that the protagonist is a transvestite. Or at least they did last episode – it seems that times have changed however, yet Ayumu’s suffering has not.

Essentially, even negative is amplified several times over for the protagonist and no one bothers to logically see things from his perspective – this is splendid as this series specifically would have far less if its leading male did not experience such ridiculous unjustified torment as frequently as he does. Stepping into class, it seems rather than receive the response he was expecting, to be dubbed some crossdressing pervert who is exiled by all those around him, he’s instead viewed as a crossdressing celebrity – magazines now showing off models imitating his shameful display.

Ayumu feels like a sack of expendable rubbish and runs away – we’re uncertain if the series intends for us to sympathize with him, however we don’t as the scenario is idiotic. It’s neither funny nor amusing either as most of it is well-anticipated in advanced and so easily seen through. Overall, it’s a bland gag that acts as filler for the episode to waste time, as well as a vehicle for it to progress to other points of stupidity – such as the interaction our hero has with the pink haired drunkard or his moping around and various YouTube moments.

A more meaningful instance of idiocy arises once the protagonist’s wife (as per some moronic incident in season one) invites him to go mountain hiking with her. She’s one of the very rare few single respectable ladies in this anime as she utilizes logic and operates as if she were a normal person – though of course neither of such things have a place in an anime as much a barrage of nonsense as is this.

One overly extended insignificant camping trip and pantsu shot later, the protagonist becomes on first name basis with his wife – and a bit later within the following day at school, he’s not-so-romantically confessed to by some deranged femdom fetish female.

Of everything up to this point in the episode, the only noteworthy instances of exquisite gratuity were the several stills of suggestive imouto fantasies. Yet even better after that point, right at the end, the episode shows a short scene containing the busty sadist vampire girl, the single absolute most lovable character in this anime as her oppai are flawless, and considering the nature of this anime, that’s one of the most sensible character metrics.

We truly hope for some more bishoujo vampire screentime as she definitely does not let down – already does she give substance and reason to look forward to the third episode of this otherwise trash quality animation not worth watching.
