An official site for “Neptunia V” has launched, bearing the first gorgeous artwork of the series – an illustration of cool colors which vividly surround a single female who holds the logotype in her hands, easily inciting interest.
This stunning art piece certainly has no trouble capturing attention for this upcoming latest title in the “Neptunia” series. Being a work with a main purpose of marketing a product, the logo is the forward most element of the artwork – however that of course is not attractive enough to justify a focal point, and it truly is not. Even with the presence of that shiny bold and brightly colored strip of text, the main subject matter remains the female who stands in center.
Informal balance is a technique which provides quite an interesting perspective, yet symmetry is fine too – and the latter is what this work portrays. A female is centered within the artwork, both hands out in a fashion identical, and her hair similarly flows outward – all keeping consistent to a general equilibrium amongst both ends of the artwork. Her pose, combined with the cool color pallet and dominance of frosty vivid tones, all provide a sense of arising – quite relevant considering the artwork is promoting a game to come, and of course answers why such a feeling was chosen.
It’s mainly the intense lashes of near white which give such an impression – not to mention, a futuristic vibe. The specs and small inclusions of the more radiant snowy color specifically succeeds in doing this due to how it was applied to the composition – best noticeable from the sides, it is as if it were an outward stream, as if the background were bursting out from behind the female, incidentally all contributing to the earlier mentioned sense of something coming forth.
Overall, the color scheme is beautiful, as is the female, and essentially all other intricacies of this piece – it’s elaborate well beyond the usual for a mere advertisement, yet then again, considering it represents a game, such quality graphics are of course very important.
Of the scarce details currently available on Neptunia V, the main items of info worth mentioning is that the game takes place during the period of the 1980′s, despite looking so avant-garde, and in a world different than the usual where its predecessor, Hyperdimension Neptunia, took place. The game releases this summer, and being from such a series renowned – that alone would have left many already set to purchase it, yet this artwork alone is enough to inspire even those who know nothing of it to at least further check it out.

This actually isn’t of the “Hyperdimension” series, it’s a new Neptunia game altogether.

This also explains why both series share an equal amount of pantsu emphasis.
