As if there’s not enough harem romance anime, a preview clip is now available for another one to soon arrive, “Kono Naka ni Hitori, Imouto ga Iru” – which also packs the already overdone aspect of imouto incest.
Unfortunate as it may be, nothing about this series looks promising – not a single aspect is tilted towards its favor. For starters, the genre the series belongs to is already far too saturated, the producers behind this work are “Studio Gokumi” who happen to have nothing to their name except failed service anime “A Channel”, as well as the erotic “Koe de Oshigoto!” which merely features girls giving and receiving sexual acts to spectral hued invisible male reproductive organs, and neither does this series’ synopsis nor PV manage to impress.
Reading the premise, it is simply a story heard once too many – a generic male lead and his pseudo-relative little sister get too close, all the while, the other females are burning with passion for the main character due to his leading male status in the story:
Abiding by his father’s will, Shougo was transferred into an academy where many young girls attend. It appears as though his younger sister (separated from him at birth) also attends this academy, and that she is trying to get closer to him without letting know him who she actually is. Problem is, Shougo seems to be popular with the other girls as well! Can Shougo “properly” reunite with his little sister and while making a girlfriend at the same time?!
Turning attention to the PV, it doesn’t help the series any bit in garnering interest. The video doesn’t even consist of actual scenes of animation – it is merely a series of lacking still images which show no more than we already know, this series is just another of many cliched harem romance series.
July of this year, the prophecy of failure foretold shall come true.

Imouto is still delicious even in a mediocre production. So I’m still waiting for this with eager palms…

Indeed, admittedly imoutos are always good – and we’d both likely end up enjoying that aspect of the anime, though as you’ve mentioned, the anime itself we’re sure to find mediocre or lower.

Holy shit dude, it looks like you hate anime. Why even bother blogging about it?

And you got that impression from what? The fact that I don’t like a generic harem anime series?

interesting.
I’ll leave it at that for the moment.

It’s always interesting when imoutos are involved.

I’ve read a few chapters of the manga. I can’t really judge now because only a few chapters are translated. Though What I can say is that sister really likes her onii-chan. She keeps calling him in at least every chapter telling him how the girlfriend he chooses (and marry) will end up to be her haha. I agree, it’s always interesting when imoutos are involved. IIRC, there’s nothing too special, but it’s not bad either. Wish there were more chapters translated. Though it is a light novel originally… I wonder how it’ll turn out… maybe like a lot of the other light novel anime adaptations and not turn out well. Well we can only wait and find out.

This is a bit random, but you always impress me with how much you know in regards to manga and novels.

Having also read what translated chapters of this manga there are, I too am not holding any particular hope out for this one. Really, all that has me interested is the infatuated imouto’s real identity… though save some actual creative deception, it’s almost a bit too obvious already.

Such a low budget PV with zero animated contents will only draw in people who are reading the ongoing novels. Don’t the people behind this know that you can’t just hop onto the Moe Express; you have to prove yourself worthly to earn a seat on the train.
