An elemental workshop.

A third preview clip has arrived for Tasogare Otome X Amnesia – displaying the most interaction amongst characters to be seen thus far, and even explaining much of the story, such as the heroine’s ghostliness.

The Dusk Maiden of Amnesia has seemingly brought out everything it can in a latest effort to incite interest in itself. This PV portrays varied scenes which offer an overview of each character within – all occurring as Yuuko, the spectral bishoujo heroine, has a conversation with the leading male protagonist Keiichi-kun. They exchanges names – and we’re also told slightly about the situation our gorgeous female highschooler faces, she’s not of the living.

Commendable indeed are several things – one of which being the wonderful themes resonating in the background, secondly, the stunning pure visuals as expected of Silver Link studio, and lastly, the strong sentiments present within the PV. This series has a very powerful atmosphere – as well as a high sense of supernatural class to it, doing well to leave one much eager for its arrival.

Even the sight of Yukko in no more than a bath towel hardly looks nowhere near as suggestive as it would within most other anime series – instead, she still sustains a refined charm to her, and amazingly, Silver Link does not let up on their artistic mastery. While Silver Link has botched a story in the past – when it comes to aesthetics, they literally are unmatched as they maximize the potential of every art and design technique.

Notice how the towel is a brighter mellow yellow – that hue is a direct complement of Yukko’s hair, a shimmering violet. Also make note of how Silver Link made use of improper balance – the green curtain within the background off-setting the image, making for far greater effect, and a sight more pleasing on the eye.

Hopefully, Silver Link manages to make this one successful – in terms of art alone, they are by arguably number one, yet when it comes to bringing a conclusion to a story, they’ve yet to prove themselves capable in that respect. The maiden makes her arrival April 9th, and we do await her quite anxiously.

  • Ah, a new Tasogare Otome x Amnesia PV, you say? Most excellent. Let’s see what we’ve got here…

-Laid before me does the exquisite form of a ghost, her clear, marble-like skin clad in little more a towel, seers itself deep within my gaze. Little by little does my back inch down against the chair, my mouth ever slightly agape at what can only be described a breathtaking sight-

Or to put it another way… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GHX8dvuFUQ

If Silver Link can succeed here, they’re set for eternity. I swear, no one can top them in terms of visuals alone. Ufotable has fantastic CGI and illustrative ability, yet Silver Link surpasses even that through their impeccable and creative application of art and design principles, which is so beautiful, it can bring me to tears simply from how much of an unworldly caliber of art it is.

People should feel grateful they can receive the sight of such transcendental artwork in their lifetime as I doubt any will be one upping Silver Link any time soon – and not to mention, they’re truly at the pinnacle of artistic mastery. It doesn’t get any better than this.

      • Certainly no one with even the slightest hint of artistic appreciation can deny Silver Link’s superiority. Indeed, it is a gratifying experience indeed to be able to lay these eyes of mine on such beauty; an experience that I shall not be soon to forget.

Now if only they can get the story right, as you said, they’ll be set. Let us hope that their experience with C3 set them straight.
