The latest itasha to be spotted within Akiharabara’s UDX parking lot is one which is quite unbelievably cute – coming themed after Ore no Imouto, this itasha features little sister action, as well as some kuroneko.
This itasha is certainly far more striking than most, and it’s not merely due to the adorable little sister printed on it – yet the fact that it comes in vibrant summer hues of yellow and orange, both of which work wonderfully with Kirino’s hair, and more importantly, her mizugi as seen on the hood of the vehicle. Stars of pink flying, floral designs, and a cute little sister in swimsuit, this is indeed one of the single greatest itasha hood artworks to have ever been devised. The single complaint however is that one is left somewhat unfulfilled.
We’re shown the start of our little sister’s slender waist, yet prior to any more delectable sights, the image is cut off by the car’s grill – truly disappointing, however at least Kirino’s cuteness makes up for it. And admittedly, this does work well to incite a craving for more. When an art piece or illustration is cut off, it actually attracts the eye’s attention to a significantly greater extent than if the art were whole.
On the sides, we have both our little sister, as well as her tsundere gothic lolita friend. The little sister sports wedding garbs as per the light novel, whereas the black cat boasts her holy Kamineko ensemble, also seen near-exclusively in the light novel – a gothic lolita gone pink and angelic. Each of the gullwing doors comes labeled accordingly with the name of the character expressed – ensuring that pitiable average onlookers who have yet to see the series will have something to type into Google when they’ve got the time.
While the front and wings both have official artwork, the back does not – instead it shows-off a fanwork which looks to emphasize large oppai that neither of beloved lolita character really have. A flat chest is fine too – and we’d much prefer it that way for our imouto and friend as that’s the way they originally arrived.
From the inside, this itasha is decked out with imouto pillows – as well as several figures of both Kuroneko and Kirino, providing plenty of eyecandy whenever the driver may find themselves sitting in the bucket seat of this Suzuki Swift Sport. Whilst we can hardly believe how this itasha can be so cute, we can’t deny reality.
