In-game stills of Madoka Magica’s upcoming PSP game have been captured which highlight each mahou shoujo’s stats in typical RPG fashion – making for quite a few interesting comparisons amongst characters.
For those unfamiliar with the way RPGs classify character levels, “STR” is the strength of force – which in the case of Magica Madoka, affects combat magic. “CON” is the ability to concentrate – impacting the effectiveness of ranged magic attacks. “VIT” represents “vitality”, affecting the defensive capabilities of the magical girl in question – this characteristic truly goes hand in hand with the last three traits. “DEX”, or dexterity, deals with hit rate – and agility, or “AGI” involves the rate at which one can dodge an assault.
Those five features all work to define what each mahou shoujo is capable of.
Homura is apparently the weakest of them all – her “STR” level is too low to be accounted for by the minor difference in level, however at least it seems Homura bests everyone else in magical power, “MP”, even if only by a tiny margin. Surprisingly, one would have thought Homura to have been more developed in level than this – yet she may make up for that in her abilities. Taking a look at her whilst she engages in combat in-game however, she’s not looking so great.
Sayaka is pictured to be at level 28, the lowest of the four, however her “HP”, or health, is already well beyond any of them – her sadistic tendencies would likely not take her far if she couldn’t withstand some damage herself after all. In turn for having such high HP, her MP is the lowest, as is her concentration, or “CON” level.
Now having seen these four, we remain in question as to what Madoka herself ranks – her stats however have yet to be released. Of what has been shared aside from the stats, below one can find a few witch profiles with a face fairly familiar.
