A magazine’s scope of character popularity for the month ended in favor of Fate’s servant Saber who ranked second the month prior – now finally having taken first in advent of the series’ first Blu-ray box release.
This is truly splendid news as much hope for humanity would have been lost had Saber not won out over the flawed pink flat chest heroine of Guilty Crown who contributes absolutely nothing story-wise – not to mention, has nothing to love either unless you’re a lolicon. The remainder of the chart appears relatively fair – it’s based on reader votes after all, thus some characters who one wouldn’t have expected to still see, like Haruhi, are listed as there is apparently still a group who is quite obsessed.
Though speaking of obsession, we’re quite sure if any character has an infatuated following of otaku, Saber’s is likely the largest one.

And so a light of hope shines still brightly in a sometimes bleak and unappealing world.
Though relieved I am, indeed, a question must still be raised. May I inquire as to what reason(s) Crown’s lackluster heroine is so high up on that chart?
I can’t help but think this a bit similar to Seed’s Lacus Clyne, whom we must admit obtained long and lasting popularity amongst her large fan base months, even years after the the series’ end.
A seemingly flawless heroine on the surface, yet one whose lack of relative depth made it exceptionally difficult to understand her mindset and where her real emotions came from. For whatever reason, it seems she does what she does… simply because that’s who she is, nothing more and nothing less.

She’s likely up there due to all the shounen series addicts who’ve never seen much anything aside from Naruto, Bleach, and Guilty Crown – I’m sure they feel this show is “hardcore and intense”.

Well, Inori does look pretty cute. Cuteness can be a factor as well.
These rankings are usually determined by both male and female readers. Females could be the majority of the readers for this magazine.

Good judgement – that could also explain the position of Chihayafuru’s heroine, compared to say, the loli of InuBoku SS.
