Psychedelically Cute Smile Precure! CM

Jan 7, 2012 @ 22:02 CDT

As it’s now only a few weeks away, a sparkly and psychedelic commercial composed of everything cute and stereotypical to the female gender has aired for highly anticipated mahou shoujo series Smile PreCure.

The kaleidoscopic CM introduces us to each of the characters as expected of a preview clip – another aspect anticipated, yet of the series instead, is that this short stream of propaganda features a vibrant array of moe which alone could keep our attention assuming the story did not.

An interesting aspect of this series is that as one can see within the CM and imagery below, its full of cute girls – working to attract children, as many kids do indeed love the generic magical girls fighting for justice, yet at the same time, the series also seemingly tends to another audience who likely watch mainly with the mahou shoujos in mind. The variegated girls of the Pretty Cure series satisfy the desires of those who appreciate moe – not to say the story isn’t a treat as well, yet any branch of the PreCure series always comes packed with plenty of eyecandy.

In five different flavors, the girls of Smile Pretty Cure come fitted in adorable frilly outfits specific to a certain sharp hue, with hair and accessories to match, alongside the seeming ever-present starry shimmers which follow around all the characters when in mahou shoujo mode.

Certainly never more appropriate has the phrase “something for everyone” been than in the case of Smile PreCure.
