There exists a scene within the 12th episode of Mayo Chiki which is leaving many riled up – it was a segment too obscene for TV, and now many are curious whether it remains still “too erotic for Blu-ray”.
Scrolling further below at your risk, you can see how the scene appeared on the televised airing of Mayo Chiki – a distasteful whitewashed slab of censorship which completely fails to do anything but disappoint. And under it, key frames from how the scene is intended to look – however, being obviously quite vulgar, and possibly on the tip of breaking some sort of Japanese law, it remains unclear whether the Blu-ray will show this segment in all its messy nipple exposed glory.

Perhaps I just never paid much attention to it before, but there seems to be a growing trend of such controversies spiking up.
Regardless, I must alter my previous opinion of Mayo Chiki just a bit. At first I had thought it merely your apparent lackluster harem series with virtually no story and re-rehashed character models. I see now it’s also quite degrading to women as well.
One can only wonder how our coming ecchi series, High School DxD, will serve to surprise us in this respect.

Ask and ye shall receive. Many thanks, Seven.
Already I can vividly imagine perverted otaku far and wide drooling at the mouth, and it’s only the first episode.
Ah well. I enjoy a good storm of controversy almost as much as I do an actually good story. Let the uncensored chaos begin, I say!

Oh ,I love the cover of this news on the mainpage. Is there a bigger one?
I have to say BD sometimes makes unnecessary edition. But it seems that only those one sells well.

Man, it will be better if Mayo Chiki! would be shown on UHF stations with many underwear shots being uncensored at times.

It would be right at home on AT-X.

Agreed. An anime, for better or worse, should always have the chance to show viewers everywhere for everything that it is.
While certainly not on the level of High School DxD – really though, what anime in recent memory is? – but I believe we’re all in agreement here that Mayo Chiki! endows a level of perversion and fan service that the original broadcast simply didn’t do justice.
