An elemental workshop.

Characters of Type-Moon’s latest ongoing masterpiece, Fate/Zero, make an appearance in Carnival Phantasm’s just released third season – allowing us to see a silly side of otherwise usually dead serious characters.

Carnival Phantasm is a complete parody of everything the Fate and Tsukihime series, both Type-Moon originals with a dark story, are based on – from the plot, to character specific traits and other recurring elements. Those who watched Fate/Zero’s first thrilling affair know very well that its characters do not mess around, at least not to the extent Carnival Phantasm will degrade them to.

Kiritsugu… with a happy face?! This is indeed surprising. Though the venue of choice couldn’t be more fitting =) However within the first image, you can already see a lot of what might be happening.

It looks like Waver and Lancer are getting on well with Berserker (Lancer will probably die, again >_>), Shirou could be discussing his mass Harem plans with Shiki, and Akiha looks rather displeased, or settled amidst all the chaos of the rather unique bar.

Can’t wait to check it out =)

OMG Iskander, Gilgamesh and Taiga are the best thing ever!! XD

Just to see those three drinking it up i would have to see this. btw, if you look closer, you will see that the characters of Kara no Kyoukai are there as well! can’t wait for RYOUGI SHIKI!!!

Taiga vs Gilgamesh, who can drink more.

Also no all thats missing is Kiritsugu and Kirei being all friendly with each other

  • There should be a face-off against Zero Lancer and FSN Lancer!! FSN Lancer is always trying to charm women but fails at it whereas Zero Lancer always gets an unwanted crowd! I’ve always wanted to see the two compare to each other~

Where is Zero Lancer in this image anyway? And what episode is this?

  • This was a really nice scene..bringing together Fate/Stay Night Fate/Zero And Tsukihime….the whole nauseverse…..it would’ve been better if they showed more interaction between the characters of Fate and Tsukihime ..hopefully we’ll get to see that if there is a 4th season

Tsukihime would have been truly awesome had the adaptation not been so poor – the series itself is spectacular, the anime is no good.

I particularly love the Tsukihime characters with the addition of the Melty Blood crew.

  • Your right…type-moon should do a reanimation of Tsukihime….and speaking of which..i’m not even particularly fond of the manner in which they handled the Fate/Stay Night anime…the visual novel is spectacular….why not do a heaven’s feel route anime..and also a reanimation of tsukihime

    • Seven says:

The anime of both of those were weak likely as the selection of studio was poor – JC Staff did Tsukihime, a horrible choice, and Studio Deen did Fate/Stay, which while certainly not awful, wasn’t ideal.

With Fate/Zero, Type-Moon went with Ufotable, which is one of the select few heavenly quality studios. Ufotable hasn’t a single work below spectacular – and their illustrative, creative, and technological skills are astounding.
