While the iDOLM@STER is a series beautiful in more than merely aesthetics, one would be blatantly lying to say it didn’t excel there as well – leaving us eager for these upcoming key art illustration booklets.
Several volumes of these are to come, and true to the title of “The iDOLM@STER Key Art Collection”, these tomes consist purely of masterful sketches of our idols involved with the production of the anime – even being littered with them on the cover. A key frame in animation is a sort of starting point for the remaining transition of motion – which in other words, means they are the most significant portions in the creation of an anime as they define the scene, usually being drawn by the best of the best artists in the industry or “sakuga animators“.
It’s very rare for key art of an anime to be shared on such a comprehensive scale – yet that is all the more reason to savor the creative excellence behind the idols.

These illustration books looks very nice, and I’m sure it will be expensive as well.
And based on the chart, Hibiki and Azusa (while wearing a wedding dress in her episode) didn’t have a revelation moment with Producer-san…

The chart did include Hibiki as was seen during the final episode – although they seemingly did exclude her during the episode animal mishaps.
As for Azusa, I don’t recall if she ever did actually have anything with P-san or not – the episode geared around her featured her constantly running around elsewhere. Though no matter, a shame to see she’s not included.
