GSC has assured otaku via a NicoNico broadcast that they will be releasing a series of Yuru Yuri figures for the yuri fan – including an array of adorable nendoroids, 1/8 PVCs, and of course, Beach Queens.
With an anime as popular as Yuru Yuri, one must wonder why these weren’t announced earlier – although definitely no one is complaining. Taking a look below at first the Akkarin Beach Queen, she’s got quite the nice body already sculpted. The current progress looks impressive, yet Beach Queen figures are known for being sub-par in the typical case – with only a select few somehow ending up to be true works of art. Assuming it all goes well, a Himawari or Kyoko Beach Queen could be quite a delight on the eyes.
As for the nendoroids, the transition is spotless – our characters all appear cuter than ever, retaining their individualistic features, yet watered down to an ultra moe package. The only statement of discontent being where are our beloved side-characters? Seitokai second in command Ayano is simply too delicious a tsundere for many us to sit back idly and pretend we’re fine with her not receiving a third dimensional form for our shelves.
Yet with these merely being concepts and samples, it is of course not all of what otaku are going to get – leaving us with a light of hope that the final products include some of the student council tsundere yuri we love.
Do keep this in mind, the true rewards will come with the 1/8 PVC figures. While nendoroids are chibi-sized renditions, and Beach Queen are a slightly diminutive in size sculpt with a quality gamble, Good Smile’s 1/8 PVC figures never fail. It’s the most common figure size – and while nothing from this line was showcased below, you might want to start saving your money now as without a doubt, these will be phenomenal and fetish satisfying in every respect.

Although I want to buy them all, already knowing I can’t afford that, I plan to get the Kyoko 1/8 PVC instead – that is assuming however there won’t be an Ayano or Himawari PVC, then I’d have to do more concise thinking before a final decision.

I want all of their nendoroids specially the seitokai! Ayano and Himawari will be the bomb their!! I hope they make them all.
