Gratuitous Christmas Anime Girls Gallery

Dec 23, 2011 @ 9:31 CDT

Being “that time of the year”, there’s no better moment to enjoy tasteful artworks of assorted anime girls in classic Christmas red Santa suit costumes – showing off a variety of colorful pantsu and oppai in the process.

Even otaku who don’t celebrate this so-called “Christmas” holiday can certainly find something to appreciate in shapely second dimensional females. And so, above we have our awkwardly angled Fear-In-Cube – posing in a fairly eye skewing manner, yet definitely not failing to satisfy in the least. Sporting her adorable Santa ensemble with skirt, the perspective of the artwork gives us a sight of her ever enticing shimapan of white and sky blue. Yet of course, the curves of her legs alone are a fine treat – whether there was feminine underwear visible or not.

The outstretched positioning of her legs is a sweet aspect of the artwork for reasons which go without saying – however this facet is also legitimately the most significant of the illustration. Her pantsu and surrounding areas are what compose the focal point of this artwork – emphasized by the extension of the legs. Utilizing shape and shadow, her legs offer a sense of depth – making note of the value around the inner-thigh, you can realize that the reason our cute little cube of Fear looks so dumbfounded, with a single leg retracted, is that we’ve floated under her skirt.

A fairly abstract art piece indeed – our beloved cube is levitating in outer space as her bag of cookies is coming open, allowing all the ornate ribbon decorated snacks to escape. Notice in the bottom left corner, Cow Tits hovers away against her will, acting as a comical approach on part of the artist to taking advantage of negative space. The transitional gradient background from a relatively regular blue, to a very dark variant is excellent in spicing up an atmosphere of solitude without taking away from the main area of interest, our Fear-In-Cube.

This blue when considered with the other hues, such as the lovely magenta of Fear’s large rounded eyes, the illuminated blue of her luscious hair, and the aforementioned soft blue of the stripes on her pantsu, serve to make an analogous color scheme as they’re all colors which neighbor one another on the color wheel, making the artwork a harmonic sight.

As a final testament to the eminence of this image, we return to the legs – as they’re asymmetrically off-set to the left, this forms what is called an “informal balance”, one which in this case, also takes advantage of the rule of thirds, having the focal point of her delicious underskirt only allotted towards a well composed 1/3 section of the artwork.
