The first PV has been released for the highly awaited winter title, Medaka Box – and it appears to bring anything an otaku could desire, huge oppai, megane girls, lolis, and even bishounen for those female otaku.
Being a work originally devised by Nisio Isin, the mastermind of Bakemonogatari and all other related “monogatari” titles – it’s not a shocker to find that yet another creation of his seems to be nothing less than epic if the propaganda clip is any indication.
This first preview video is fantastic on so many levels. The music is an energizing theme which fits well with all the ongoing design effects as each and every main character is introduced one by one. Those “design effects” are various stylish aesthetic additions, such as angled typography, silhouettes, and monochromatic backgrounds, which compose the entire PV – rather than the usual random excerpts from the anime, as is the case with most other anime PVs.
For a studio to animate up something fresh specifically just to serve as a PV for the actual animation – that definitely says something favorable about the quality we can expect with Medaka Box in terms of overall animation and relevant variables. The visual representation of the characters is already noticeably very strong – taking the voluminous chested bishoujo above for example, her breasts are enormous, although unlike most anime girls with equally as colossal breasts, hers simply seem so well kept within her outfit and other physical traits.
Expectations are now flourishing as this anime allotted for April of 2012 is pleasing in every way.
Going based off the synopsis below:
Kurokami Medaka, a first year, is elected as Student Council President, and the first thing she does is establish a suggestion box, later dubbed by students the “Medaka Box”. Medaka encourages students to submit any problem to the box without hesitation and promises to take on any issue from anyone.
We can foresee from good things to come from this seitokai.
