Mirai Nikki returns to again prove that things become certainly far more dangerous when females are undressed – only moments after shimapan is revealed publicly to all, everything starts going astray.
Before anything else begins, we see a silhouette of a regal man propose to Deus Ex Machina in a gathering of the remaining living diary holders that he would like to pass over his diary to a “third party”. Past the ever-epic opening sequence, our impudent little Yukiteru-kun appears to be heading to a new school – hoping for a fresh start from the previous experiences he’s endured at school, dejection, a lack of friends, and of course, life threatening incidents.
Not too shockingly, his yandere friend does follow – and as they head onward to the educational building, Yukkii comes to notice a white haired character nearly as feeble as himself physically, yet far more confident in himself. As Yukkii stops to stare at this second stalker of his who looks longingly at him from across the street, Yuno wonders what’s wrong – yet as he points to indicate the watching man, white hair has already disappeared.
At school, Yukkii sneakily heads to a seat in the back of his class – yet before even sitting down, he’s been found out by a character one may recall from earlier on at his previous school. Yukkii recalls it was this kid who wasted not a second in trading his life over to a terrorist in exchange for his own safety. Though as this arrogant idiot begins rambling on about how Yukkii “left everyone to die” and who knows what, a rather sexy dark skinned female appears to aide our Yukkii.
She’s interesting in quite a few ways – first of all, the fact she’s not totally pale is already extraordinary considering this is an anime. Yet in addition to her physical appeal, a girl besides Yuno actually assisted Yukiteru – truly unexpected indeed. However best of all is as the two come to be acquainted with one another, Yukiteru blunders and pulls her pants down to gratuitously make visible her adorable green shimapan which sport a cute ribbon on top.
Yukkii made a mistake however to be seduced by her mentioning of “friendship” – she, alongside a friend of hers, and the douchebag kid all go to investigate a crime scene after school. Yuno tags along, of course not merely leaving behind her Yukiteru. She senses bad things to come – leaving us to assume she’s merely being the usual jealous yandere she is, yet once more is her obsessive compulsive intuition accurate.
The sexy pantsu exposer Hinata rushes off like an imbecile to some place deep in the park – only to be decapitated and lose her left arm. Yukkii sees this on his diary, sprinting over to his “first friend’s” rescue – yet all that ensues is him, alongside Yuno, and some others, are now merely entrapped by a plethora of rabid dogs.
It’s during this incident, someone else we’ve yet to see arrives – a “weirdo” who wants to be the “world’s greatest detective”, and after some several minor yaoi-like notions aimed at Yukiteru, he leads everyone to a zone of refuge from the frenzied beasts following. Inside an observatory engulfed in an inferno of canines, Yukkii realizes the single way to survive whilst “saving his friends” is to utilize his Mirai Nikki – compromising it’s secrecy in the process. And as he does so, he ends up finding himself with a knife to his neck as a presumed dead girl comes back to life.
There’s several diary holders, though Hinata’s is one she did not acquire first hand from Deus Ex. Yukkii is in a situation which leaves his diary, and life, at risk. Hinata originally had in mind to steal the diary of the not-so-famous, dreams of being famous detective – yet as she learned of our Yukiteru’s diary, she decided to steal his instead.
Unlike Hinata however, from what we can see, the junior detective kid does not appear to be all that bad. Yet keep in mind – no one within that room knows Yuno has a diary save for Yukkii, and Yuno’s assumptions of who is a hazard to his life is usually always correct. Although he may be older and of the opposite gender, an interested tidbit of info is how Yuno doesn’t act nearly as rejecting of the detective Kurusu. She never states him to be a menace to Yukkii’s life – and as we’ve seen, he’s certainly not been so in the least, quite the opposite in fact.
We’re left wondering what course of action will the wannabe detective take, as we’re rather sure he will respond to the challenge of Hinata – and not to mention, what will our adored yandere do in the next episode?

The look in Yuno’s eyes.
People will die. People will die in the next episode.
On another news Number 11 is quite smart. Using his daughter and her friend to take Yuki out.
As for the man with all the Swag. Who is he really. What Dairy could he hold (My deduction tells me a Diary that tells if someone is lying or not, the Truth Diary, which would make him the most OP out of all the Holders) and is there the possibility of a 13th Dairy Holder. We never know (unless you read the manga).

I’m hoping Swag Man turns out to be a good character – else, he’d likely end up facing death at the hands of a yandere. Ideally we receive at least one more pantsu shot from Hinata before she dies – one from her friend would be nice as well.

If I recall, the part where Yuno points out who were suspicious, I don’t ever think she pointed to our greatest detective. Did she?

An episode not so much to do with 10th and his detestable use of his own daughter to fight his battles for him, but for the mysterious Aru-kun to make his entrance; a rare type of character who possesses a charm like that of Kaworu from Evangelion (not to mention he even has the same seiyuu).
If I didn’t know better however, I’d almost swear he and Yuno were brother and sister. Their respective gazes have been worked to a fine art if nothing else; granted one is filled with nothing but murderous intent and the other has more of a “come hither” kind of feel to it.
That aside, this whole business with 10th feels much in the same way as the situation with Rei-kun did – rather forced in order to get another diary user out of the way. Still, that Yukiteru’s own classmates have been brought into the Survival Game may well prove interesting; though they may well wish they had taken their chances with the dogs if Yuno has her way with them.
A build-up episode, indeed. Looking forward to what our silver-haired detective is up to next.
