Our moe cube returns to her scary side for this episode of C3 – however she manages to do so in moderation, aware of her actions, thus rewarding us two different delicious flavors of loli, alongside moe maid service.
Overlooking the incoherent initial segment about dolls in a theater, the episode starts as the real Shiraho is seen within the home of Haruaki and his harem where they all exchange words on the matter which took place last episode – the revelation of Sovereignty and Shiraho’s true identities, and what would be the best course of action moving forward.
Verily did our cute cube speak with Sovereignty on the matter of removing the curse – thinking it was Shiraho at the time, and so now she wonders why Sovereignty went astray, unwilling to cooperate to lift the curse. Shiraho has the answer – ridding of the curse would also do likewise with their love, it’s a romance not revolving around curses, but dependent on them to survive. This thus left both Sovereignty and Shiraho hesitant to do much further than continue along without bringing physical harm to anyone.
It’s admittedly not easy to understand all this discussion of curses and whatnot – yet it seems that essentially, Sovereignty had been stealing small ounces of love from unsuspecting others. Shiraho’s certainly touchy on this matter regarding her lover – Haruaki however is a compassionate guy, as is his adorable cube-like companion.
Fear proves to be more than just a face with fine features – she actually comes up with a plan, which is so moe in itself as once one sees it play out, it’s impossible to go without thinking how this elaborate scheme was conjured up by such a cute creature.
The strategem goes into effect, Shiraho is held in place with a Cow Titted blade across her neck. Our cube of immense cuteness switches over to an entity still as moe – yet one with a sadist complexion akin to that of Shion and Mion from grotesque loli series Higurashi, an effect amplified by Fear’s luscious hair made green under the moonlight. Fear stands tall, calling out Sovereignty as per their plot – and indeed does Sovereignty appear with an estranged visage and blades hanging off her skin.
From there on, our moe cube goes into a monologue provoking the raggedy and fatigued Sovereignty – sporting a series alluring poses all in the process, until capturing within one of her Curse Callings a beaten Sovereignty with not so much freedom. Although it seems like Sovereignty is on the verge of an unforgiving torture induced death, it remains all part of the plan – forcibly bringing independence to the cursed blades within the servitude of Sovereignty, thereby cleansing her of the curse.
All adversity is solved as the situation ends in favor of everyone’s life, and another average day at school commences. The principle commends them for their efforts – yet to account for the entire mess, he has Sovereignty serve as a maid to satisfy his aide, Zenon-kun’s, fetish for cuteness. Though we feel we personally won out on this outcome as well – as does cute little cube who receives an intelligence disk from Sovereignty.
With the conclusion of the episode comes some quick service scenes and talk of romance as our cube tries to figure out does these peculiar feelings inside her which react to Haruaki.
We’d like to mention this episode to be as incredibly cute as all the others to come before – yet we must also say the words “cute” and “moe” are merely repetitive at this point, if not earlier on, when referencing C3 or Fear-In-Cube as there’s simply so much of it to be seen. Other topics of interest surround Fear’s feelings – as clear as it is to spectators, she herself is confused about love.
Another intriguing aspect is what role are we to expect of Sovereignty and Shiraho from now on – if any.
Finally, there was mention of a sports festival which will see our athletic Fear-In-Cube participating – something which we’re certainly excited to see if it comes to fruition. A Fear-In-Cube in gym clothes? The mere thought leaves us titillated.
