Surviving a non-stop five hour shift in a heavy storm, the crew responsible for setting up the scenery of Newtype’s Moving Pictures Festival in Awaodori Airport have completed with quite a bit to show for it.
The massive banners, standards, and etc, have all been raised high and tacked in place. These alluring children of marketing advertise everything from Madoka Majika to Nyanpire – with the main attraction being Type-Moon’s highly anticipated Fate/Zero, which litters the ceiling of the airport with propaganda all around.
Type-Moon seemingly is the bone of this event’s sword – whatever that means, as they have several other unmissable entries. Those additions are quite diverse, ranging from either cross-series promotional posters branded with Saber and Shiki serving as the emphasized focal point, playful Carnival Phantasm printed media slapped on the walls, and sheets of visual media publicity sporting their critically acclaimed Kara no Kyoukai film trilogy.
Many upcoming animations decorate the wall with their best artwork in an attempt to seduce otaku into purchasing their merchandise – quite frankly it is very effective. The sight of Christina itself is highly enticing – using her to convey the simple message of a release date works rather well.
As we’ve mentioned previous, the banners are gigantic by the way – do not be fooled by the photography. Even the smaller vertical standards are easily the size of a human and a half in height. However the most intimidating in length of these all are the four main headliners streaming down lusciously from the atrium of the airport.
Below you can watch as the headliners are raised to the airport’s roof from a lower and upper perspective – then enjoy further sensory rewards in the form of photographs:

Man I would love to steal one of those, the only problems are:
1. I don’t live in Japan
2. The actual act of stealing them would be quite the challenge in itself.
3. Where would I hang those massive bannars/awesome wall scrolls.
4. I don’t live in Nihon.
In particular it’s the Xillia and Fate/Zero ones I’m lusting after.

I am glad they still have Manabi Straight up — it has been four years, but the Japanese still remembers it.
