An elemental workshop.

The Tokyo Anime Center has recently been exhibiting rare development stage material, such as production phase drawings, of ultimate yuri series Yuru Yuri and time traveling fan favorite Steins;Gate.

On display are an assortment of items contributing to the creation of each series which most otaku would have never even had a chance at seeing even in their dreams. Steins;Gate goodies being showcased include actual scripts, background and stage concepts for Kyouma’s legendary apartment, the rooftop city view, as well as scenes of the vast wilderness from episode 12. Different character angle compositions can be found, even one for Mayushii in her childhood.

Yet perhaps the most thrilling, at least in our opinion, of this arranged spectacle has to be the storyboards. They’re being flourished freely amongst the other items – although if one were to look closely, they can encounter the devastating scene of Makise Kurisu-tina in a pool of her own blood.

Voice acting enthusiasts were not forgotten either as part of the showing consists of full scripts of Steins;Gate signed by the entire seiyuu cast.

Moving along to the more yuri inclined demonstration of none other than Yuru Yuri, the Yuru Yuri counterparts of the identical items are being showed-off. In terms of content category, it is much of the same – however the exhibit is far more colorful as its overrun with assorted episode frames, illustrations, and random satisfying yuri goodness which one could only expect from Yuru Yuri.
