Likewise to our previous summer collections, the gallery gratuitously offers artistically inclined images of stunning shoujos in mizugis. As the artwork above takes an incredibly unconventional approach to the matter – it shall serve as an exquisite example.
A clearly noticeable and unorthodox yet amazing addition to the image is the guitar – it adds to the fiery and fun summer atmosphere whilst also maintaining a well suited balance through color and implementation. The guitar does not appear randomly thrown in, rather it appears as if the image almost depended on the guitar as it is integrated in such a manner which allows the artist to exceptionally display the girl’s energetic emotions.
The girl playing the guitar which matches her mizugi makes for a relaxing and refreshing scene as the bright colors of summer are certainly captured quite creatively – not to mention, colorfully. The orange and yellow hues which vary across her guitar and mizugi do well to compliment the blue based background, all in all making for an incredible usage of complementary color scheme.
An easily unseen yet prominent and grand aspect of the image is the angle – the heavily slanted scene can go almost unnoticed, however it is a feature greatly responsible for bringing out the atmosphere within the image. By boasting such an unusual angle, an emphasis is made on the fact of a “fun, free” summer and it is what allows for the pose to be portrayed as it is, rather than something much more traditional or standard.
Generally, summer scenes crucially depend on vibrant colors, exotic angles, and curved lines, essentially any facets one would expect of fruit, to display the desired open and energetic outlook.
