An elemental workshop.

Obnoxious unanticipated anime series iDOLM@STER is showing off its harem of cute girls to wrong audience – newspapers are coming with a full-page of the lush loli advertisements.

Newspapers across Japan have been sporting some delectable iDOLM@STER full-page artworks as part of a foolish not-so-great advertising campaign – the issue resides on the fact that otaku don’t read newspapers. The expensive ads simply end up getting a few laughs out of the elderly readers – the older lolicon would be much too afraid to admit any sort of enjoyment from the images.

The ones behind the campaign didn’t even expect there to be any success from the ads stating “advertising effectiveness is not expected”, “young people today don’t read the newspaper” – the ads even went so far as to come in several variations with all different girls, listing alternate times and broadcasting networks of the harem series.

However it appears the advertising actually managed to succeeded ironically in the end as the legend of its failure reached many Japanese blogs, news sites, and 2chan – now spreading across Japan in its entirety virtually.

iDOLM@STER is in-fact airing today – a harem series filled with busty bishoujos and lolis, essentially every stereotype of anime girl there is, for all flavors of otaku enjoyment.

Jeeze this was… Spiteful. What is wrong with a company trying to advertise an anime to other audiences? I’m pretty sure The iDOLM@STER will not be as bad as you say it is. There are several competent animators on board for the project. So it has an edge over the other moe stuff. I just have this feeling that its going to be a great show. Maybe me fanboyism is getting in the way. Lol.

I’m mainly going based on the failure of Xenoglossia, iDOLM@STER can still prove me wrong with it’s latest rendition – which I honestly hope it does.

Oh, don’t base this on that piece of garbage. I’ve heard that this anime takes a unique approach in direction. Supposedly, a cameraman is recording the girls as if it was a reality show, kinda like in The Office. That itself is intriguing, although they still exhibit the usual stereotypes… Subs freaking where!

I noticed this one is much more promising – it even had the actual iDOLM@STER girls, not elementary school lolis.

Why can’t we have this kinda advertising in NA?
