Black★Rock Stylish Yuri Shooter

Jun 23, 2011 @ 15:23 CST

Black★Rock Shooter is super stylish yuri flavored anime packed with emotional shooting action – alongside an exquisitely artistic display of female-to-female affection.

Mato Kuroi just got accepted into a junior high school. On the first day of school, a peculiar one of her classmates catches her eye – Yomi Takanashi. The two charmingly different students meet – the innocent, cute, and naive, Mato, in contrast to the much more mature and refined Yomi.

Their deceptively different appearances seem quite opposite – yet the time the two spend together flourishes along with their friendship, effortlessly evolving into a bond beyond comparison.

Unfortunately as the second year of high school begins, Mato and Yomi receive separate classes – segregating them from one another whilst of course weakening their former mutual attachment.

The OVA begins to drift off into a different realm, a young, fresh, and stylish loli with fiery blue eyes, known as a Black Rock Shooter is seen facing off against another young girl – thus a beginning battle between them proves to be a deathmatch towards the truth.

    Not actually that loli

This page has almost nothing to do with loli, unless you meant yuri in which case I’ll point out that the only male in the anime of any significance at all was the boyfriend who had under 1 min. of screen time. If you did mean loli the only ones who are close are Yuu and Mato and there otherselves, but they seem really mature and don’t strike me as loli. Honestly though, I don’t care about any loli/yuri, I just like the cool action scenes and the intriguing yet somewhat complex plot.

Black Rock Shooter OVA was pretty good. The story line itself was very well scripted.
