Seitokai Yakuindomo Total Harem Anime

Jun 8, 2011 @ 10:22 CDT

Seitokai Yakuindomo may be the harem of all harem animes as it surrounds it male character with a grand total of several thousand young high school girls.

As lead generic male character Takatoshi Tsuda enters the vast jungle of female dominance – a co-ed high school that until recently had been an all-girl school, he’s immediately interrogated and essentially extorted in joining the student council (seitokai).

Very much unrealistically and as with many a generic lead male, he’s neither a pervert nor courageous enough to defend himself from the taunts and tasks of his female rulers.

The entire school appears to be composed of dirty minded school girls with little to no modesty save for two nonexclusive males of which one adds little to the story except entertainment through his torment – as another offers nothing at all.

The lovely seitokai president is the more eccentric of the characters as well as being the actual main character, considering all matters of viewing interest revolve around her – ranging from eyecandy, humor, and plot.

She offers the baseline of the story as it appears she’s become romantically entranced by the lackluster male fellow – yet as usual in many animes, she’s greatly tsundere and unwilling to openly admit such.

As for a first episode – it is one of many sexual jokes, innuendo, and not particularly family friendly affairs, yet for an established otaku this is quite a worthwhile watch.
